So i got hooked up with some oxycodone and was just wondering if smoking it will be more intense or something. Im pretty sure im just going to snort half and swallow the other. When i say smoke i mean like free base not putting it on a joint or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can do it, but I'm sure smoking all the binders/fillers in a pill aren't good for you. You'll definitetly get effects though.

Yeah - Jspeedy pretty much knows everything there is to know about pills. But still, don't smoke your pills people. It's possible, but you're better off just swallowing or bumping them.

I've tried smoking oxy codone (40mg infact) and got no effects. The flame destroys the chemicals, and can let out bad byproducts from the fillers and such. I don't know why people say they have felt effects (most likely placebo) because I have personally tried this and so have other people I know, with no effects.

I don't understand how anyone could get a placebo effect as powerful as a 40mg dose of oxycodone, I guess anything is possible though.

I didn't get any placebo from smoking a 40 oc. I got a bitter attitude about how I just wasted a good pill.

Honestly I've never done it, and never would, it was an assumption since I know OC can be used numerous ways. I've heard smoking morphine pills works though, but that's more plausable since morphine is less synthetic than oxycodone.

edit: and for christs sake, its not like you're proving anyone wrong. There are some pills that CAN be smoked, and no matter if it works or not no one is going to pat you on the back for telling us it's unsafe, because that's just common sense.

It's the junkie's intuition if they want to smoke pills. Many people are convinced that smoking a pill will cause different effects, just like snorting, so they choose to do that. People know you can smoke heroin, and some people even believe OC is "synthetic heroin" due to its strength, so whatever someone does it's out of their own dumb curiosity. For the 3rd time, I've never done it and don't condone it.

With enough product you can do a cold water extraction which I know can make codeine/hydrocodone/oxycodone shootable, but I'm unsure if you can really get smokable or snortable oxy from doing a water extract. Don't ask me about shooting though, I've never done it.
