Trip Report: Cyclobenzaprine

I've been sober for a while. I quit weed for a month about 2 weeks ago because of my greening out issue. I haven't drank since my birthday in early November. I wanted to continue my weed/drinking sobriety so I decided that since I couldn't get my hands on acid yet that I'd do cyclobenzaprine.

For those of you who don't know what the hell that is - CBP is a skeletal muscle relaxant and sleep aid that reduces muscle spasms and muscle pain in the muscles that move your bones (In other words leaving your heart alone). It supposedly lasts for 18 hours but I can't vouch for that. There is only one prominant side effect: It makes you dead tired. It is known commonly as Flexeril and comes as 10mg tablets.

So I take them while heading to a party. I start with one pill at about 7:45. I wait an hour and feel nothing so I take a second.
About 30 minutes after the second, I get a very mild nausea that went away with some burps and standing up.

At about 10:00, it starts to kick in, so I don't take a third. The first effects are a nice relaxation and an intense and irregular heartbeat. After another hour I become knocked dead tired. Things become very slow and my brain feels like its using all its resources just to run.

Around midnight the euphoria kicks in, and the tiredness goes away a bit. I become somewhat dehydrated, but still enjoy the trip. The intense/irregular heartbeat has fixed itself.

After some fun with the only single chick at the party (Heh, kicked everyones ass there), the tiredness was almost completely gone. At 2 I began to head home The long walk to the bus wasn't bad at all and I didn't feel exhausted doing it.

It's now 3:30 and I feel very tired again, and have a nice warm happy feeling.


My conclusion is that I should do 40mg when I'm at an outdoor party that lets me walk around to keep any crappy feelings at bay. This drug is pretty relaxing, but a majority of the effects are the same as when you're really tired.

I have a bottle of about 800 cyclonebenzaprine...
And every time I've taken them I haven't really noticed effects..I've taken 7...and all I've gotten is sleepy...any suggestions?

Lots and lots of soda. When I was drinking my pepsi I felt great, but once it was done I started to get tired.
I ended up passing out around 4am and slept for about 10 hours.

Thats also good because carbination somehow increases the absorbtion rates. So whenever I pop pills I always drink something carbinated.

Nice report, I love this drug, and have had many fun expieriences with it, I can believe that it can last for 18 hours, because one time, I popped 30 mg's of it, and layed on my bed for a while, this was around 3 pm, and the next thing I knew, it was 9 am the next morning, but anyway, enough of my story, another thing I enjoy about them is that low doses are always enough for me

how long does it take to kick in?

After about an hour and a half you can tell somethings up, but the actual effects don't hit you until about 2-3 hours after you take them.

@Tweak: It should always be a low dose. The tip reports on erowid start from 10mg to 40mg

That is pretty much what they are supposed to do. My mom is prescribed cyclobenzaprine and gives them to me all the time when i need to go to sleep earlier.
