Help Cocaine Dizziness

I did some cocaine last night with two friends. My friends are more experienced with the drug than I am, as I've only done it once or twice. I did two lines at about 11 pm last night. Before I went to sleep at about three am, when I would close my eyes, I experienced a spiralling sensation and I felt extremely dizzy and nauseated. I ignored it because I just assumed it was because I was tired. Now, nearly 24 hours later, I still have the same sensations. I asked my friends if they felt any of these feelings and they said no. It only happens when I close my eyes.

I do have a history of dizziness.. I'm really beginning to freak out. If anyone can offer any insite I will be extremely greatful.

tl;dr: did some coke last night (two small lines), felt dizzy and sick when i closed my eyes, still feel this way after nearly twenty four hours later

this more commonly known as vertigo. I get this when I am smoking strong buddha and close my eyes sometimes. Try to imagine something, a picture or scene when you close your eyes and see if that helps. Just dont concentrate on the blank spiraling feeling.

That's vertigo? That happens to me whenever I get extremely blazed and I love it. Feels like a rollercoaster, like the rooms spinning. Just sucks when driving. I thought vertigo was supposed to suck?

Vertigo sucks when you're sober or if you're somebody that doesn't like being a little out of your control, if that makes sense.

The reason (I think) you hear of vertigo as being a negative symptom for sickness or what have you is because it's a little disconcerting to be at work and all of the sudden feel like you're spiraling down, or like the floor is rushing up at you. Happened to me once when I had an ear infection

(OP) Yeah.. It's especially bad when you're tired and try to sleep but you can't because you feel like you're spinning in circles. Also when I get dizzy, I throw up...
This is still really freaking me out. I hope it's not something in the coke. Although my friends would feel it as well, yes?

Don't let it freak you out. Anxiety is basically a placebo, it can make you feel very sick. You're in the clear. There's nothing to worry about. If I were you, I would pour a glass of ice water, eat something small, and try and lay down watching TV or a movie for a couple of hours. Putting on one of my favorite TV shows always helps me sleep. I end up wakin up a couple hours not remembering going to sleep, which I'm pretty sure is what you are going for. But most important, don't be scared, you're going to be okay.

I would assume so, yes.

I can remember doing blow once when I was just beginning to get a simple cold. Shit fucked me up for a few days. It's possible that your system is run down from something else and you don't know it. It'll pass. Comforting yourself is the way to go, as Fuckaround says. I usually take a bath, drink something warm (or ice water is OK too) and just lay down. The more you relax, the faster this will pass.

I've done my share of coke, meth, and other stimulants. I also have a history of vertigo and hypertension (not so great when you pair them all up). It could be a hypertensive episode specifically targeting the cochlea (what you hear with and also maintain balance with). Excess blood pressure can aggravate this mechanism; especially without a visual reference to keep your bearings straight. Maybe this is your case, referring to the hypertension and all.

And I agree with Fuckaround, anxiety can amplify any symptom by the mere suggestion of the mind.

(OP) So I've finally been to sleep! But I'm still getting the sensation...weird. I'm beginning to believe it's not cocaine related? Even though that is when it started..

If it bothers you enough or doesn't go away, I say see a doctor. Whether or not you want to mention the onset coinciding with your coke use is up to you, but doctors aren't cops. It's not like you'll get in trouble for having done it, and it might (probably will) help the doc figure out what's going on with you. It's not like you don't deserve treatment just because your illness could possibly be drug-related.
