Shitty Weed

Hey guys I am kinda new to weed. I think im getting crappy weed from my most prominent contact. He's the only reliable one close by. I was wanting to be able to tell the difference between good and bad. Last time I got supposedly Indoor Purp, and it seemed liek the real deal, pretty strong smell. This smells much less strong and I can crumble the nugs of it with my two fingers. Does that mean it's shitty weed? and how much should I be charged for an 8th of this.

If it's good $50-60. If not 20 no ifs ands or buts.

The more fluffy and leafy the buds are it's probably better. Also the more trichomes. If it was what he said it was there would be little to no seeds. The more seeds the worse it is. That means the plant has been pollinated by a male plant and more of its energy has been used to create the seeds than THC (the chemical that gets you high).

If its really bricky and dense then it's dirt. Brown weed is almost always a no too just for the record.

You should normally be able to tell if it's good by just looking at it. Good weed will have-

A) Little white crystals on it
-- These are Trichomes, the resin glands of the female cannabis plant. These are the primary source of Tetrahydrocannibinol (THC) in the plant, or the stuff that gets you high.

B) It should look good. Good bud is green of course, will look fresh, and should be kind of sticky. It should also be in "nugs". Shitty weed is normally brown, in a bunch of little pieces, and won't smell very nice.

C) Smell- While some shitty weed may smell pretty "strong", the key comes in that good weed should smell fruity, skunky, or basically just fresh. If it smells like it came out of a dumpster, then it will probably smoke like it came out of a dumpster too

It smells a bit pine-treeish. Some of it is in nugs but they are easy to break and there's more "crums" of it then ive ever got before. Ideas?

When you break it up, do your fingers feel sticky afterward? Are there seeds or large stems? Is it moist?

I have not seen any seeds, a few stims perhaps. O well, maybe my tolerance is just going up.

If you have a grinder, I found that between good and bad weed, good weed typically drops more keif than the latter.

Piney and crumbly, doesn't smell as strong, doesn't get a newish smoker high. You answered your own question.

Edit: Crumbs...sounds like the weed wasn't dried properly, just blasted with heat to get it out on the street.

If you're new to smoking weed you shouldn't already have a tolerance. It takes a long time of smoking a lot of weed per day to develop a tolerance.

also practice makes perfect. Always be looking around if you find another hook-up even if it's not reliable you'll still get an idea in the difference of weed. Before you know you'll be weighing half 8ths with your hand.

I got alot better quality bud this time. It's all in big nugs, no crums like last time. They said it was Lime. It seems good.

na i really need a camera, maybe for xmas I will get one. Mainly for weed haha. People say Cali weed is usually the best so im probobly spoiled by it. However, I can't get mids anywhere. And if they are, they will sell them the same price as dank. I think ive only had seeds once or twice in about 20 8ths.

Don't be quick to judge those popcorn nuggies. They can yield quite a bit of kief. And about selling middies for the price of dank? that's highway robbery. I look for the dusty shit, cause you get the tip of a guitar pick and then sprinkle that golden dust on the top, MAN, you be fucked up by the time you exhale. Kief is the best thing in the world man.

I really miss those days...I just can bring myself to smoking again.
