Stash box...

So I have been driving around with a large amount of weed lately and I am looking for any suggestions on how to make a LEGIT stash box that will more than likely not be found by cops. I'm going to be hiding a small handgun and around 2-3 oz's, and if it matters the car im riding around in is a 1990 jeep cherokee

Where you locate it isn't nearly as important as:

a) don't get pulled over in the first place. make sure your lights work, your signals work, you use them, you don't speed, you're not white in the "wrong area", not a person of color in the "wrong area" (racial profiling sucks, but it happens)
b) if you get pulled over, don't give them reason to search the car. this means be polite, keep your shit out of sight, don't have any warrants.
c) if they break out canines, you're fucked unless you've double-vacuum sealed without getting scent molecules on the outside of the packaging

If you follow a and b, you should never have an issue in the first place. If c happens, you're probably fucked (because I'm wagering that you're not driving with one delivery at a time of 2-3 ounces). If a canine hits you, they can dismantle your car to their heart's extent, and no amount of hiding's going to save your ass. they can remove upholstery, remove car doors, take whatever time they need if a canine provides suspicion.

In short: spend your energy doing shit that matters.

a friend of mine got pulled over about a month ago for speeding. they had k9's in the car. because he already had a small possession charge on his record, the officer told him to give him what he has or else he is going to bring out the dogs. this guy had over an O of weed, a big bag of shrooms, and a jar of x. while the cop was back by his car, he pulled out a bud and stuck it in the bag. when the officer returned, he gave him the bag. the officer believed him. therefor, he got another charge for possession and speeding. now this guy has his license suspended for a month.

can cops do that?

Sure can. Cops can generally do whatever the fuck they please when there's drugs involved. But your example isn't even questionable. The cops said "incriminate yourself" and your friend did. He's lucky the officer believed him. He's lucky all he's got is a suspended license. I'd be fucking stoked if I was that guy.

I don't understand how people get pulled over while doing illegal business SO FREQUENTLY. I've never been pulled over, ever, and I live in a city, speed frequently, and drive a convertible sports car. If I was doing something naughty I certainly would be driving much better. I never could figure it out and it really pissed me off waiting for a guy an extra hour because the cops pulled him over.

well he wasnt speeding by a whole lot. he was actually texting me and was not paying attention to his speed.

he is typically a very careful driver when he's doing business... it was just a wrong mistake at the wrong time.

edit: still sounds like a dumb excuse actually

honestly, i am the best cop spotter when i drive. i pretty much toss my phone and slow the fuck down. but when i have drugs or a drunk person in my car, i dont even risk doing those things.

so i guess it was just a dumb decision at the wrong time.

I live in the bay area in cali which I'm not too scared about them finding my weed, it's more along the lines of other things I would like to conceal..

How about not driving around with 2 or 3 ounces and a gun on you? Not much way to get the cops involved if you do it that way... When your doing business, ride a bike or walk or something. This sounds perfectly logical to me.

I don't live and have never been to California but I can only think that getting caught with over an oz AND a handgun will not turn out good. Keep the weed, lose the gun. Guns and drugs don't end up well!

The best way to hide your shit is not going to come from someone here. You need to look at your own car, and search around a good 15-30 minutes for a hiding spot. The longer it takes you to hide it the more time it's going to take a cop to find it. Dogs you are just fucked.

also, when you do find a good place. have your friends search your car for at least a half hour and see if they can find it. if they cant, then congrats!

Yes I can weld, but I was hoping for something a little easier than that but if I have to I will. As for the people saying guns are bad and ditch that gun and all that noise, you must live in a real safe place...but where I am from it is either them or you. I had a friend get shot over an 8th of weed in august, granite he was dealing with some shady people but I'd rather have one and risk getting in trouble than loosing my life.

As for not sharing hiding spots with the 'world wide web' I might be wrong but chances are the cop that might pull me over isnt a member with this site are pretty damn low...

As for just not getting pulled over, AGAIN you must live in a pretty nice place. Cops dont need reasons to pull people over here. i got blurped the other day for showing indecision and i was driving COMPLETELY fine. Thank god I was rolling clean that day.

And as for the bike, I actually do this all the time but where I cop is pretty far bike ride.

If i could delete a post i would, should of just got off my high ass and figured something out for myself since everyone on this site is more interested in telling you not to do shit rather than offering ways to actually help me. Hella wack.

Oh and I don't live in Allentown anymore I live in California.

I drive a jeep. I'm white, and when im riding with things I shouldn't be I don't wear any hats or hoods or things that will make me stand out.. The speakers in my car are pretty much all blown out. The cops must not be assholes like they are out here where I live. Come to where I live and ill show you the cops don't fuck around out here. You get pulled over and told to get out of your car FOR NOTHING. For real, there is a lot of workable room in door panels if you know what/where to gut and you have an electrical map of your car so you don't accidentally fuck up any wiring.

Plus it is a readily grabbable spot to keep straps yo!

If you don't care to remove safety equipment, pull out your driver or passenger side airbag and gut it out. Tons of room and no cop should ever look there.

I'm not familiar with a Jeep dash, so I'm not sure if it's all molded into one piece or is separate like in my car.

If you do do this, disconnect the battery first, then wait a half hour for any electricity in the car to drain. Then it's safe to mess with them. Your dash may also throw a light like "SRS" if you do this though. It's easy enough to pull the gauge cluster out though and remove the bulb.

If you're rolling around with a gun in your car and you don't have a concealed carry permit for it then the weed in your car is going to be the least of your worries.

When they pull you over and find your gun you'll be wishing you listened to everyone or that you only had a few ounces on you.

Illegal possession of a firearm is a felony and in Cali you'll get fucked harder then if you had 3 or 4 ounces on you.

Get your med liscense and you can have a QP on you legally and get a liscense for your gun and you can carry that. Still hide the shit though cause most cops will still take your weed even though you have your card.

Just look around your car and you'll find a lot of little nooks that can be easily modified to hold a lot of shit without being easily noticable.

Just curious as well, what is business like other where its legal to buy? Do most people just get a card or do they still risk going out on the street to score?

It depends, if a dealer can get danker weed than the clubs or he's hooking it up more then people will still go to the dealer. And if they need a sack when the clubs are closed they'd still call up a dealer. Medical Marijuana definately makes it harder for someone to sell weed, but there's always people who will buy from dealers.
