Fuck, does my weed have silicone in it?

Well I've been going to a new'ish' dealer, my stoner friends recommended him and his prices are very good compared to most of my dealers. Anyways, I was looking around in the "Hot Box" and came across a post from 09' about weed contaminated with silicone and it made me think about the weed I have.

-The weed I have right now is dark'ish' (dark purple) and green. Many trichromes that kind of look like super small individual hairs and obviously it has legit THC crystals, and lastly has the regular hairs.

--The high is awesome, normal and I haven't thought anything is fishy until I read that post...

---I did scratch the bud against a CD and when I don't put force in the scratch nothing shows up (like if I drag it across) but when I put a bit of pressure on the CD then scratches show up... lets just say I'm worried.

P.S. I live in Rhode Island which is pretty damn close to Boston where it was first reported back in 09'.

We can't say for sure what is in your drugs or not from here, I would play it safe if I were you and just move on. The CD scratching thing worries me quite a bit. A high res photo is always welcome on DnB, plus there's always the slim chance that more experienced smokers may be able to point out any red flags (such as silicone presence) which would have otherwise inaccessible. Throw it away, the potential damage here just isn't worth it.

In the past I have received silicone laced pot from Rhode Island. This, from my understanding, was from a particular Asian group with local grow houses. The weed was somewhere between mids and headies. If you have good headies I wouldn't worry. I'll try the CD scratch test once I find a CD I can scratch to compare with definitely non dusted pot.

They're good headies it's just one bud that looks a little too good, I tried what you did the bud I thought was laced scratched the CD and the other bud didn't...damn.

In england we had a bad case of sprayed weed. If it burns hard in a joint/bong and I mean rock hard then chances are somthings on it that shouldnt.
