Okay, so this can be a thread about what you do while high, (not stuff that you would do "partying")

Obviously if you do opiates then you do them every day while doing everything that you do throughout your day.




I guess the question I am asking extracurricular activities. Now that I am getting sober again I am really enjoying nature a lot more. Going on hikes with my dad and my dog Buster. Going offroading and working on my suzuki samurai. Drifting my car in the snow. Going out with sober friends and bullshitting with them. I used to love going to shows but I am really trying this hardcore sober thing and not doing any drugs including weed or LSD, which obviously the types of shows that I would want to go to would be greatly accompanied by LSD

I work in the backstage side of theatre. I can fabricate and weld metal which I enjoy and I can also be a hell of a good actress. I love dogs but don't currently own one. But yeah, theatre takes up most of my time

Very, very little. I might go watch a mate do a piece (graffiti), or go into the city to buy some clothes or something like that every now and then but besides that I pretty much stay indoors and smoke weed all day every day. When I'm smoking weed we usually just listen to to music, play ps3, freestyle rap, or go buy/make a feed.

So yeah the only thing I do regularly that isn't drugs is rapping, but I always do that when I'm on drugs and I rap about drugs (weed) extensively so it's not completely separate.

Music, music, music. I fucking love music. I listen to a plethora of music everything from beethoven to Johnny Cash to NWA to Godsmack. Music stimulates my mind and my thought process. I love my animals like others have mentioned. I have one dog and one cat and I'm watching the latter eat a fruitloop of my floor right now. I love playing with both of them, there both such characters. I'm deffinitly a family dude as there really important to me and I enjoy hanging out and spending time with them. I love watching movies. Weeather on TV, DVD, blu ray, or in theaters. I love watching history channel or comedy central. Either informing or entertaining. I'm also a huge law and order fan and I watch them all with the exception of law and order UK.

This might sound a little girl-ish but I love clothes, shoes, accessories, and just shopping in general. If I was a millionaire I would buy out entire stores. I love scnic views. Camping and hiking with friends is always a good time. Now granted i'm inebriated most of the time I do these things. But in general they are all things that I do other then drink and take drugs.

I like outletting my creativity through photo manipulation, web design and 3D modelling. I've always had an interest in that sort of industry since a young age and I can tell it will lead me to a career; I'm already studying for my degree which allows me to practice them simultaneously, and I've started earning some money on the side from this hobby.

@LSDXMDMA, I love clothes as well. There's nothing wrong with wanting to look good, but the same can't be said for expressions of vanity.

I work, hang out with friends, read and watch shows. Mainly documentaries and a few tv series. I have watched damn near every bbc horizon show ever made(except for the stupid sounding ones), all the Louis Theroux documentaries I could find, tons of space/universe/math related ones, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Walking Dead, The Wire(though that's over), Game of Thrones, Futurama, Southpark and some others.

I got a kindle touch though and I love it so I have been reading more than anything else recently. I've read the Song of Ice and Fire series(the books Game of thrones is based on) twice now along with the space Odyssey books and others. I like sci fi, fantasy, historical fiction and non fiction(Reading Gun's, Germs and Steel, an excellent book and movie).

I read historical novels when Im sober enough in the evenings, am a big film fan, love well shot nature documentaries. Used to be an active sportsman at a good standard, but that sortof went down the drain. Me and a friend are looking to sign up for a kickboxing class in the near future, I think that'll be really good for me if we get round to it (always a chance we wont being lazy stoners).

I play with my kitty (I wish I had dogs, but the apartment doesnt allow it), go to school, and go to festivals and shows when I have money. I am obsessed with music and wish I still played instruments. I was great at that.... I love to work when I have a job.
I also LOVE making art and doing photography. Sadly, I havent had any resources to the stuff I would use to strengthen my areas of focus. I should probably use the time to practice on the areas I'm not good at, but I'm not a huge fan of nature photography unless something REALLY stands out to me. I also like doing research on really random stuff that I'm curious about. I think that's why I'm majoring in advertising... Arts (in many mediums) + constant learning + conceptualization/being entertaining = Good advertising (and also inspires my creativity and problem solving skills). Knowing the USP is a good start though.
I am one with nature, so when spring comes around, I will be camping, having bonfires, and going to the beach.
I also enjoy yoga and cooking healthy and fancy, so I guess I call myself a foodie!
I like learning about culture, so any chance I get, I will explore the world. A huge goal of mine is to work for a WOOFF farm or go backpacking in europe, but I must be fulling ready to let go of being comfortable and start being open to a VERY new style of living.

I'm thinking of volunteering at soup kitchen or food shelf this summer as well, especially since I use the food shelf and EBT.

Trying to be a good father is my main focus. I remain sober from alcohol and drugs in our time together, even the non-mind altering (because with speed for instance, you don't realize the barriers it puts up even when your attention is on the person, and he is old enough now to truly communicate things to me, and that I might not catch), but we stay so busy it's possible and I don't often think about substances in those times, alcohol is my only true addiction (besides nicotine, which unfortunately I don't ever see cutting loose) but I manage. Really there's nothing i'd rather do than lay on the floor playing cars or whatever all day, going for walks in the woods, finding activities like the snowman contest we did last time he was here. Now that he is going to start school soon and I'll have a 6 day per week job starting soon for the rest of the year, am going to miss the long visits. it may cause me to get back with my ex wife, a bad idea, but couldn't live without him with what we've been doing.

I always wanted to write as a side gig, articles, but now that I've recently been given the opportunity (erotic fiction, which am pretty good at), am faltering...and my little helpers are running out. I really hope I don't blow this.

IDK what else. I like sex, who doesn't, when I am getting all I need it becomes pretty trivial though. I'm a gun nut, lifelong interest, also of weapons in general and combat tactics, but guns are the one thing I could talk about all day. Movies, History (Great Depression,etc.). Nothing much to me I guess.

Seeking recreation at strip clubs, lead to pretty much every relationship I ever had, directly or indirectly. I stay far the fuck away these days, but dancers are still my people.

Oh and preparedness/survivalism. Used to be big time into this when I was younger, getting back into prepping now. This time i certainly don't see a collapse of civilization as an answer to all my problems, or a good thing in any way. I don't think jack shit will happen on 12/21 (I had worried about it for years, until recently), but inevitably the grid will go down, and if during my lifetime, I'd like to sustain myself and loved ones as long as possible (unless nuclear winter or otherwise no world to inherit). buying a remote piece of wooded land would be priority #1 if I came into some money. Stock it up and not tell anybody, including those who would come with, and Have that place for peace of mind, plus just a place to go for whatever. Reconnecting with nature can be great stuff.

When I'm on my Suboxone I usually just go with a couple friends to this Cannabis Club in Berkeley that allows you to rent out Volcanos and medicate right on the premises after you buy your medicine. It's an awesome club, and I just got my card like 2-3 weeks ago so I'm still all obsessed with it and I just buy a shit ton of hash and wax's. Funny how one of my hobbies is medicating haha.

Lol call it like I see it, bro. To stop de-railing Oscar's awesome thread I am going to list some more activities (which I am sure Dank will not find helpful lol) that I am into. Two activities I really enjoy, which you will probably find strange, WW2 and politics. For the WW2, I can literally spend hours just watching documentaries and things of that nature. Some people find it morbid that I like a damn war so much. I just think is was very interesting (and unfortuante) how the whole thing played out. And it makes me fucking proud to be an American! Fuck with the USA? Japan really screwed the axis powers on that play lol. Note dogging you Brits here though.

As for politics I am not into debating them but am a very firm person in my beliefs. Both econimical and moral issues. If someone starts spewling at the mouth about something I disagree on I really really have to bite my tounge.
