Inpatient is some annoying stuff, but just do what they tell you and it's not so bad. Try to keep your mind off cigarettes if you smoke too. When I was in the hospital a few weeks ago, everyone was freaking out over cigs.

Thanks for the support, people. Not my first rodeo, been here before. Mania is a bitch cunt. Meds need changed, stabilization is the only option, structured living for however long is necessary for me to see, and feel.

Just go in there, Moose and relax. Get some rest. I know how physically and mentally exhausting that sort of condition can be.

Try to look at it as a break from the world and an excellent chance to learn some coping skills to make shit in the future easier to handle.

They might give you medication (whether it's Trazodone, Valium, Xanax, whatever) to keep yourself calm so definitely use that to log some well-needed and deserved hours of sleep.
