PF Tek and fruiting advice?

I have a couple of syringes of golden teacher spores coming my way. I've read through the PF Tek and a LOT of other docs on the shroomery. Now I'm looking for firsthand advice from anyone who has experience with it. Tips on sterility, fruiting chambers, dessication... I'll take any help I can get.

Also, If anyone here had followed the PF Tek, can you give me an estimate on what your yield per jar was? How many flushes did you have per cake? Is it unreasonable to expect to yield upwards of 2 grams dry weight per cake?

That's not an unreasonable expectation.

I prefer the MMGG (http://www.erowid.org/plants/mushroo...oms_mmgg.shtml) over PF Tek, and it addresses many of the concerns you have.

Sterility is the most important part, and I wouldn't skimp on *any* of the steps. Bleach your work-area and apply sterile drop-cloths. Use a pressure cooker. Take your time, and stay sober until you've inoculated. One fuck-up and it's over.
