Howto How To: Make an easy Homemade Bong out of Household Items

This is how to make an easy homemade bong out of items you can easily find in your house.

    You Will Need
One water bottle (Doesn't matter what kind, I used a regular but gatorade, powerade, etc are thicker plastic)
One Crayola marker. The big kind. This kind.
A metal socket. . The bigger ones. They will fit into the pen/tubing.
    A Lighter.
    Screen (optional)
    Some flame nuggets.

Step 1. Empty out the crayola marker and wash it out with water. Then dry it off.

Step 2. Find a socket piece that already kind of fits into the marker, and then take your lighter and start lighting the part where the socket goes. Don't burn it till it melts just until its hot. Then take the socket and push it in. Put your thumb on the end and blow to make sure it's air-tight.

Step 3. Burn a hole into the water bottle that isn't as big as the marker. Make it smaller and when its heated up, shove the marker in. If it isn't air-tight, get another bottle and do it again. When it is air tight, burn a choke hole on the other side of the bottle but higher up. Burn it and then push your thumb onto it so it forms to the shape of your thumb. Put some water in the bottle, enough to were the bottom of the stem is underwater.

Step 4. Test it out and put your thumb on the choke and the other on the top of the socket. Suck in, the bottle shouldn't do anything or if it's a cheap bottle then it might cave in a little bit. It may also bubble a little bit, that's okay, but not the best.

Step 5. Put a screen in the socket if the holes to big and your nugs will fall through. Then put your flame dank in the socket and smoke smoke smoke.

Someone try this out atleast, haha.

You can also use a spring door stopper as the bowl/slide and wrap a thin layer of electrical tape around it to make it air-tight. The only problem is the hole is a little wide so you would need a screen or a gauze so your herb or other smoking material doesn't get sucked through.

When i had to make a homemade bong i used a Volvic bottle, part of a hose pipe, and tin foil wrapped around the end of the hose pipe to create a bowl then puncture about 3 relatively small holes into it.

You can get a 10 pack of screens from any head shop/cigar shop for like 3 bux.

Also, if the seal from the downstem isn't a good one by just burning it you can always get some epoxy or silicone and gob it around the seal, that will make sure you have an nice airtight seal.

I am more of a handy-man so I have made bongs out of jack daniels bottles, goldschlager (sp?) bottles etc. I used a glass drill bit and bought the actual glass female piece and sealed it in there with a rubber grommet. The goldschlager bottle works great because it has that little plastic place that is easy to drill into because the glass underneath it is flat and the plastic/glue actually helps with the seal.

I'm funky, not a junky, but I know where to get it...

When I was younger, I would take the screens out of water faucets. I think by the time I quit my job, there were no screens in any faucets in the whole building, lol.

The only thing is, there's like a plastic film over the screen (to prevent rust, possibly) that you have to burn off. Just don't do like I did and stick it on a plastic part of your car to burn off the film. (The plastic piece melted to the screen. lol)
    Go dtachta an diabhal tu!

I don't mean to complain but it's been a year and a half since I've been home and I'm 90% sure I left my front door open.
