Extasy Forest Bump/Exodus Festivus - Aug 7-9 VT

3 DAY FESTIVAL FOR A $7.00 COVER - ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CHARITY!
    FRIDAY, AUGUST 7TH, 4PM - SUNDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 4PM

FOREST BUMP THIS YEAR WILL BE ON PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY IN THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSTOWN, VERMONT. THIS BEAUTIFUL PLOT OF LAND STRETCHES 58.. YES... FIFTY EIGHT ACRES ON THE DAZZLING COUNTRYSIDE OVERLOOKING MOUNT MANSFIELD. PLEASE BRING YOUR TENTS AND YOUR CAMPING GEAR. WE MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND CITRONELLA TIKI TORCHES AS WE WILL BE IN THE HIGHT OF THE SUMMER AND BUGS WILL BE PROMINENT, AND OF COURSE ITS ALWAYS NICE TO SEE AROUND YOUR CAMPSITE TOO!

THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF TALK IN THE FB THREAD IN THE CHILL LOUNGE ABOUT IT BEING A FREE EVENT... THIS YEAR BECAUSE WE ARE DOING IT IN SUCH A REMOTE LOCATION AND SUCH A WIDESPREAD AREA, WE HAVE TO RENT PORTAPOTTIES AND SOUND EQUIPMENT. THERE IS GOING TO BE A $7 COVER THIS YEAR. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TO THE WORLD WILDLIFE FOUNDATION AND THE CONNECTICUT HUMANE SOCIETY!! PLEASE DON'T LET THIS CHANGE THE VIBE OF THE PARTY BY IT NOT BEING FREE THIS YEAR, WE ARE STILL TRYING TO GIVE U THE BEST PARTY POSSIBLE AT THE LOWEST COST OUT OF OUR POCKETS AS WELL AS YOURS! I HOPE THIS DOESN'T CHANGE THE MOOD OF ANY OF OUR FOREST BUMP FAMILY OUT THERE. WE'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND NOT ONLY DID WE HAVE TOO MANY CLOSE CALLS IN CT, BUT WANTED TO MAKE THIS
YEAR THE MOST MEMORABLE BY GOING ALL OUT AND MAKING IT HUGE.

WE ARE NOT PUTTING ANY OF THE PROCEEDS IN OUR POCKETS!

    ALCOHOL IS BYOB!!
DOORS OPEN ON FRIDAY AT 4PM!
3 AREAS OF FULL SOUND AND LIGHTING!
SATURDAY CLAM BAKE BY AHLKIE THE CLAM KING HIMSELF!
    SUNDAY BBQ!
    ON-SITE PORTAPOTTIES!
    GIANT SCREEN PROJECTOR!
    HOOKA LOUNGE BY SPIRITUAL HAZE

This event has been cancelled due to too much interest. The organizers were not ready for the amount of people that they now think will come, and are averting disaster by canceling this. There may be an event thrown to replace this one, check back for more details later.

Damn man, I just came across this and was pumped, I definitely could have rallied a pack of friends to go. Then was totally bummed out after reading wng- post. Definitely post any updates though man, i'm fully interested if they decide to go forward or have a replacement event. Thanks.
Consider, if you will, the morning boner. What a metaphor of hope and renewal! How can anyone give way to despair when one's groin meets each new day with such a gala spectacle of physiological optimism?
