Debate sticks and stones.....well er...they suck.

back in the bad old days, while the rest of the world was carrying sticks and stones, white folks had guns!!!
this allowed them to set the stage for many conquests, colonialism, wealth, and yes, MEDIA PRESENCE.

    the results?

    *black chicks straighten their hair
*asian people undergo "double eyelid surgery" in order to have more caucasian eyes
*skin whitening products make up a booming industry in india/philipines/etc.
*bollywood (indian mainstream cinema) is saturated with indian guys/gals that look "caucasian"
*Brad Pitt is listed as the sexiest man alive.....why not jackie chan?

eurocentrism is all the buz because of one fact, sticks and stones suck. just watch "the last samari" and you'll see what I mean.

    sorry for the rant.
I just read an article about asian girls doing that shit to their eyes.
I'm all for cosmetic surgery but that shit is fuckin wack. as a proud asian man, this makes me extremely sad.

    this depresses me...

    ************************************************** ***************

on the plus side it doesn't have to last forever. obama running for president shows tremendous strides in diversity amongst "power players"
sure the dude doesn't "look as black" as his bretheran
but fuck it, an improvement is an improvement.

    you know what I want?

an arab, homosexual, fat president. he is also blind and missing an arm.....
....oh, and to add insult to injury, hes also a Satanist!!!
that will show the world something special.
you know, the momment that happens all hell will break loose.
but I will be cheering for him......

    what do you guys think????

If you're going to make huge rants try to pretty up the grammar so it isn't as much of an eyesore :x

I do agree about Obama running showing good progress in this country becoming less racist. I hope he doesn't end up getting assasinated.

America hasn't been doing very well for leaders lately has it...Bush, Obama, Clinton. They'll all end up in someone's crossfire at some point.

Now perhaps I'm just retarded, I mean "mentally challenged" but I found that HIGHLY amusing. Damn us big white gun toting homophobic racists!! I personally don't care for Obama. Black, white, purple, rainbowed, gay, straight, transgender. It's all the same to me. Just something about him turns me off.

So you'd rather vote for someone because he's different and breaks racial barriers than focusing on what he has to say is basically what you're saying? Tell Mommy and Daddy to stop listening to CNN when you're around.

    I agree with you m4k.
Rosamumstarbreeze wouldn't you say voting for someone just because they are different would make you the same as the 'homophobic white racists' (thanks bunny )? Because I sure would, that wouldn't make you any different, because all you're trying to do is break a color barrier, and gender barrier, you don't seem to realize that people should be judged on their character and not their color (thanks MLKjr). Who cares what color or what gender they are if they have good ideas and honorable principles? What you're saying is in and of itself contradictory, you're thought process is quite hypocritical.
And your perception is a little skewed my friend.
But that's just my 2 cents, take it or leave it.

Haha you tell him. I'm not sure what clinton your talkin about, but im pretty sure Bill was a pretty decent president besides the whole scandle. And the only reason they are being caught in the crossfire is because Obamas black, and Hillary is a girl. Neither of which have ever been president. For the record, i don't want a female president ever. Just how i feel.

^Indeed, I was referring to Hilary. Bill Clinton was a good president, I just don't think Hilary will really be very popular. At all. And we get nearly enough news coverage of American politics as we do British politics. You don't need to live in a country to know the political situation of it.

Why? Very little interesting is going on here.

Yes, eurocentrism is a problem, and white people immediately fall on the "reverse racism" defense like it somehow explains the difference between centuries of oppression and current methods by which to change it. The eyelid surgery trips me out too.

But let a guy say that he wants something drastically different than status quo and watch him get quashed by a bunch of drug users. Which is hilarious given that users should know better than anyone how a system of governmental lies built up over time can fuck you.

I avoid "political" conversations like the plague because they generally consist of people ranting without any coherent thread of reasoning. Blah.

you know what? in some ways I am the same. and I refuse to apologize for it
I don't hate any race....but I sure as hell see it to be a worthwhile venture to ensure the advancement of my own race.

white folks have the white house (at least for now). black folks have the NAACP.
name one organization that puts asians in a position of power....
    .......
    ....
    ...
    .
    thought so!!!

furthermore, most ethnic groups I have come across actually have a decent "homeland" to return to. in case you didn't notice, the burmese government continues to kill its own people...my people!!
mention the word democracy in burma and you stand a good chance of being deported or imprisoned. not to mention a fucking tornado hit the place.

no one had mentioned it here, but along with "reverse racism arguements" a popular comment is, "if you think america is too eurocentric go back to where you came from"
easiar said then done fuck face.

So you'd rather vote for someone because he's different and breaks racial barriers than focusing on what he has to say is basically what you're saying?
its exactly what I'm saying. the best way to revolutionize the world is the shake things up a bit.
and just as well, I'm tired of seeing the mundane and ordinary. I crave chaos.
and before you say, "if you want chaos so bad, go to iraq/rob a bank/take acid, etc.
what I mean by chaos is chaos in the familiar society I grew up in and grew to worry more about.
I speak of not only race, but of drugs as well.
traditional chaos is personal and is an illusion at best.

any "barrier" we may have broken is illusory at best.
some people say that americans are "enlightened". or desensitized to the bizzare.
this couldn't be further from the truth.
however, the moment my arab, satanic, homosexual president takes center stage I hope that
our culture takes desensitization to an unprecendented level.

    chaos my friends
and when the dust is settled
you will be glad it happened!!

in one respect I think you and I have something in common. we both want the best man for the job.
let me put it in terms that you might understand.

so that you want to smuggle drugs out of mexico.

lets say that you are interested in infiltrating the mexican mafia. which FBI agent would you send? a white one or an agent who looks mexican?
lets say that while both are talented agents in their own rights but the white one posseses more skill.

let me ask you this. which agent is more likely to get shot?
    mexican agent,,, durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

on a side note, nobody promotes intolerance. be it racism, prohibition or religious persecution, history has proved that being different really really sucks! Intolerance existed since the beginning of time. the moment the first caveman, walked out of his cave and saw a "different" caveman, there was intolerance.
At the same time, you cannot force anyone to not be racist/anti drug/anti-(insert religion here) beyond showing that you are not what the media makes you out to be.
I don't care what anybody says, tolerance is incompatible with basic human instinct.
its the fear of difference and love of power that cripples any effort set by promoting tolerance.
its one steps forward two steps back.

however, history has also shown that there is strength in numbers. the things you can promote are yourself, your people and the enactment of laws that protect all those things.
    your people.....
be they the stonners, the whites, the blacks, whatever.
    never forget your people.

Seeing how I'm voting for Obama, it's going to be a win win situation unless That one white guy wins, McCain, or whatever.
Hillary did most of the work when Bill was in office.

I understand how you feel, I like to call myself an idealist in that regard. It's incredibly frustrating to see things the way they should be versus the way they actually are, especially when you realize how difficult it is to actually make the changes that need to be made. I'm a thinker by nature, so I don't go a single day without wondering why the sociological problems of our society never get solved. It's fucked up and there's really not much you as one person can do. You either desensitize yourself and learn how to assimilate, or swim upstream in the slim chance of causing an uproar.

But hey, at least you have the freedom to try. If you live in the US or any democratic country, be grateful that you have the ability to speak your mind and [peacefully] act on your ideals without repercussions. Hell, be glad you have fresh water, a roof over your head, and fresh food just a short walk away from where you live. Sometimes I think we've made things too complicated in this world, I probably would have enjoyed life before civilization truly boomed. It's almost a luxury to be able to think farther than 'Gee, I hope I don't die from disease, starvation, dehydration, or dismemberment today.'

I don't disagree with your opinions at all, I think it's good that you're aware of the bullshit that most people turn their heads from. Just realize that even if you're upset, you still have it way better than most people on this planet, especially considering that you're not in prison.

I'm not even going to begin talking about politics until I see some evidence for people's arguments.

true that...its unfortunate but I am a "complainer" I don't know why its just sooo fun to do.
I'm trying to change that. but hey, at least I feel justified and it is an ego boost ^^. but hey at least I admit it....

    this my be off topic....
but one thing that makes me feel better about myself is seeing people suffer.
    not in a sadistic way.....but in a "contrast-to-my-petty-problems way"
just look at the poor souls in thai prisons.
since most of them are suffering because of drug crimes. doing drugs here is far more fun then doing them in asia. shit those fuckers got it baaaaaad. poor fellows....

actually funny you should mention the word thinker....before when I smoked weed every day, 5 times a day everything seemed fine. there was one momment last month that I recall (one of the few things I recalled, lol) where
I was stonned and I was watching a news segment about a father raping his daughter.
    I simply laughed.
    and laughed and laughed.

now that I"m joining the air force I have to be sober.
its been a few weeks now.
but since that momment of abstinence the world hit me like a fucking freight train.
I finally realized what was up with our society and the way people treated themselves and each other.
after that I made up my mind that (when I get out of the air force) I will still smoke weed. but only once a week on the weekends.
no matter how scary the world is,the fact that I was ignoring it completely seemed scarier after I sobered up.

speaking of the air force, I found out that shrooms are one of the things they don't test.
so that means I'm going to be in lalallaa land for the next 4 years. something tells me that with shrooms I wont be able to run from my problems like I did with other drugs in the past.

oh and for the record, the discussion I started was never ment to be political. only social issues/philosophy driven.
but in cased any one was wondering I do think obama is more than a barrier breaking wreaking ball. (althogh that is cool in itself ^^) he is charismatic. he is gentle. he has humble backgrounds. the doesn't go around accepting money from groups that promote an agenda that contradicts his values.
the reasons to vote for this fellow or numerous.
I could go on all fucking day. this mutherfucka is the single most impressive man to run for president since kennedy.

speaking of which, are any of you obama supporters reminded of kennedy when you hear and see obama?
young, charming, and oh so minty fresh!!

Haha, where did hear that? You hang out in the White House much? Or.... close family friends? I'm pretty sure he did his own deed, she was too caught up in HMO. And he did a pretty damn good job, and pulled the country out of recession. He also went to Oxford, aside from the whole morals thing, he was pretty damn good at what he did.

    the results?

I'm all for cosmetic surgery but that shit is fuckin wack. as a proud asian man, this makes me extremely sad.

    this depresses me...

on the plus side it doesn't have to last forever. obama running for president shows tremendous strides in diversity amongst "power players"
sure the dude doesn't "look as black" as his bretheran
but fuck it, an improvement is an improvement.

    you know what I want?

an arab, homosexual, fat president. he is also blind and missing an arm.....
....oh, and to add insult to injury, hes also a Satanist!!!
that will show the world something special.
you know, the momment that happens all hell will break loose.
but I will be cheering for him......

    what do you guys think????
    no read no care

On a final note....would somebody please give George W a blowjob so we can get him out of office? I don't think I can wait until November.
