Insane heartbeat while high.

The last couple times I've been high, I have had an insanely fast and strong heartbeat. I'm pretty sure it's not just my imagination, because when my friend checked my pulse on my neck, he also thought that it was quite fast. It feels like my heart is beating at the same speed that it would after running a fast mile or two.

This has only happened with the latest strain of weed I bought (trainwreck), so I believe that to be the cause, as I am in good cardiovascular shape, I do not smoke cigarettes, and I almost never drink.

Is this something to worry about? Have you guys ever experienced anything like this?

Dont worry about that,its normal becuase you were concentrating on it.

When im high, i dont concentrate it. I just say fuck it!lol

That only happens to me with certain strains of weed, when I first started smoking, my heartbeat while high was insane, but now its fine.

When I use to get really high it would feel like my adams apple is about to shoot out of my mouth. Pretty freaky first time it happened, but then I realized it was just in my head.

I had the same feeling the first 10-20 times I got high, usually only when really really high. Now it doesn't happen at all, no matter how high I am.

Yeah don't worry about it. It can happen when your high, if you don't think about it you won't notice it as much and it's not a danger to your health.

Happens to me all the time. It's not something to worry about. If you think about it, chances are you'll make your heart beat faster because it'll worry & stress you. If I'm really high and walking around, as soon as I sit back down I feel my heart beating out of my chest, but as soon as I forget about it, it seems like it goes back to normal.

As others have said, it only happened to me my first couple times. It never happens to me any more.

I had to do a field sobriety test once while really blazed....heart beat went crazy, but I PASSED!

I had the same thing when I smoked trainwreck and another similar strain; that could indeed be the cause.
