makgin LSA, ergot, with rye bread?
I heard you can pour water on a piece of rye bread, let it collect mold, then you can eat a certain part of the mold which is "ergot" supposedly making you to trip similar to acd? I'm looking for any information you guys have, as my friend and I plan on trying it sometime. Thank you.
Well gee boy don't kill yourself. It wont create "ergot" which is used in the synthesis of LSD. Just another myth.

It is possible to grow ergot but you'll have to do a lot more than simply let mold grow on bread. You would need to grow the ergot fungus, itself, and only the ergot fungus. I've never found the ergot fungus for sale anywhere so I doubt you will find it and if you do happen to, I highly suggest against this as eating this fungus is not a fun experience from what I've read.

They would probably make you sick anyways if you just eat them whole. Crushing them up to a powder helps a bunch with nausea, makes it stronger, and it won't last as long which imo is a plus. It's not worth the effort to actually grow a plant, LSA's very mild.
I'll have to give that a try then. I've never acctually tried eating the seeds purchased or grown. I'm not a big fan of drugs that make me puke.

In addition to what everyone else has said... Ergot fungus is the base of making LSD but to make it takes a much different process of cultivating ergot as well as a very intense process to synthesize LSD. LSA is a plant alkaloid that is chemically similar to LSD, but most would describe the effects as quite different. Eating ergot is a horrible idea. This will give you a really fun disease called ergotism which is a disease that has emerged a few times throughout history. Notably during the Middle Ages when it was called St. Anthony's Fire, named after a sect of monks who were successful at treating it. The disease is described as forcing limbs to fall off before your final death. According to fairly recent research (1976) the Salem Witch scare of the 1800's could have been due to hallucinations caused by ergot poisoning, and thus people confusing these actions for being a witch.
tl;dr A history lesson about ergot. Don't even try this. Bad crap will happen.
So...Technically... Eating Ergot would make you hallucinate in some way?
Im kidding kids, don't eat ergot...
