Growing With Mary Jane.

Three of my friends and myself are going to start growing a couple plants in one of my friends attic. His mom doesn't care so we decided his house would be a great place to grow. I do have a couple questions though.

What kind of lights do you suggest I use, if we're growing around 2 - 6 plants?
How much should each plant be watered daily?
What soil do you suggest and how big of pot should it be grown in?

I also heard that during the first stages of growing the lights should stay on about 18 hours. Then when the plant starts budding it should stay on for 12 hours. Finally, when the plant is at the end of producing lights should remain off. Is this true, because I have read many different responses online.

It is on the first page so you didn't really have to search for it. However I do think that you should check this video out because it will explain most of what you need to know. After watching it then ask questions because we are here to support each other but not do each others work ;).

I would say one light, depending on the size, is good for 2 - 6 plants. The light cycle depends a lot on the strain you are growing but from what I understand the basics are for 18 hours of light during the grow phase and then you switch to twelve hours of light to induce flowering. How much water you give the plants also depends on the phase. Watch the video and read overgrow.com, it isn't hard to do your own research and you'll find out a lot mor information.

Yes there is a window, and we will have a couple fans up there so the air circulates.
there is also a couple vents from the air conditioning in there too.
