NOGALES - Something just didn't look right to border protection officials in Nogales.

They say a woman and her three children were trying to enter the U.S. carrying almost 12 pounds of meth.

The feds arrested a 30-year-old Nogales, Sonora, mother Monday afternoon when customs officers noticed an unnatural bulge in the abdomen of one of her children.

Officers say they asked the other children if they were carrying containers and they said yes.

The mother, a 12-year-old son and two daughters, ages 10 and seven were carrying one container each.

The mother appeared before a federal magistrate in Tucson Tuesday and was charged with importation of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute and distribution to persons under age 21.

The children were turned over to Mexican authorities.

I'd like to know who was in charge of the actual recovery of the meth. Did they perform surgery or allow mother nature to run its course?

Regardless, how someone could do such a thing to their own children is beyond me. Feed that cunt to the pigs.

I don't necessarily think that they swallowed it, it doesn't say it just says their was a bulge if it was inside the kid and they saw a bulge through their clothes something was wrong with that kid it was probably under his shirt taped to his abdomen or something.

That sounds like an old wives tale but, it can make you do some crazy shit that you normally would not do. It can change a person's personality and rational thinking dramatically. If you have not done then do not. It is highly addicting and is very hard to quit once you are addicted.

yeah, it sounds more like something someone would do on dxm or on some sort of strong hallucinogen or pcp.

not saying it's not dangerous, but it's dangerous in a different way.

this coming from the person who dropped out of college in part because of ice, became a bum at a worthless cheating boyfriend's house in part because of ice, and spent the three subsequent months geeked out of my gourd about 75% of the time.
