Tried coke last night. What the fuck is this shit?

I did two lines and felt... not much. It woke me up from being stoned, and made me a LITTLE twitchy. At what I think was the peak, it made me feel sort of like I felt when I was little, and had too much caffeine. My friends told me it was good stuff, and they liked it alod, so I dunno. How does it affect you guys?

The first time I tried coke I didn't feel much from it either. With some people it just takes some time, I'm not sure why though. Give it a couple more tries, snort some bigger lines and you'll start to feel it. You will freak out when you first really feel it because it can get really intense.

anyways... i wouldnt say coke is overrated, its just most times, its shite, ive done it maybe 30-40 times in the last 2 years, and 20% of the time it was blah, 70% of the time it was OK .. and 10% of the time it was amazing, once u've done the amazing, you know what yer looking for, the texture, smell etc... and u will be able to tell if u got crap or not

It's better (and more fun, imho) to snort it. You get a different kind of high when you smoke it, and it kinda makes me edgy and jittery, versus feeling like I'm on top of the world when I take it in the nose.

Yeah, coke is really damn overrated. If you've ever done meth, coke doesn't measure up at all. I wouldn't recommend doing either personally, in fact I don't really recommend anyone start doing any drugs, including weed, except for ethnobotanicals like shrooms, mescaline, stuff that really broadens your mind and lets you see the true beauty of your brain and what it can do.

Back to coke, honestly if you are going to do hard drugs, meth is more bang for your buck period. Coke doesn't do enough to even be worth it already, and with another drug like Glass in existance which has better similar effects and costs less, why bother with coke.

Now on to the meth hatred. I'm thinking about starting up a whole thread about this. Why is there so much hating on meth, it's just a drug. Sure there are a ton of chumps and punks who do it, but catagorizing it and saying everyone who ever does glass is a "fuckin tweeker and needs to be shot" and assuming that they're all strung out all the time is just as bad as when people say everyone who smokes pot is an idiot stoner. I for example am a normally functioning member of society with a good job who contributes just like everyone else, and for recreation does meth occasionally. Big fuckin deal as long as I have enough self control, which isn't as difficult as the media makes it out to be being that we are dealing with a non-physically addictive drug (no sickness like with heroin or headaches like with nicotine or caffeine) People really need to learn to view people for who they are and not the drugs they do, and stop viewing drugs as "good" or "bad" drugs are chemicals, people are good or bad. Doing meth or coke will only make you a criminal because uncle sam doesn't want you to have fun unless he benefiets off it somehow, neither hit some "law breaking" receptor in your brain. Some people are just plain irresponsible and use meth or coke as a tool of abuse to stay up all night, then wig out and go do something else that's dumb. It's just the same as someone using a gun as a tool of abuse and going and getting drunk and shooting thier neighbor over a minor squabble, and we don't catagorize all gun owners and label them.

I expect a little better calibre from my posters and the Drug and Booze forum. You did two lines. Two lines hardly got me buzzing on my first try. my second try, when I did a gram, that got me buzzing. That got my twitchy. That also made me end of dry heaving on the side of the drive-ay because my body was over-heating. be careful on coke guys, just because two lines didn't do much doesn't mean this drug is weak.

I hate meth because my close friend was addicted to it for almost a year. I've seen how bad it can fuck up a great person. I admit, it intrigues me, and if there were no consequences, I would do it. Regardless, it's a horrible fucking drug, and I hate it.

It's sometimes hard to see past a drug, and see the fact that people are doing whatever is happening to themselves, and just using the drug as a tool to get to that point, and it can happen any way, not just with drugs. I have the same problem with alcohol, I am not a huge fan of alcohol, I have never drunk it, and I hate the way it makes people act. It takes effort on my part to realize that chemically alcohol is merely one of the few drugs more simple then meth and it just is a means of adjusting your dopamine levels. People themselves choose to abuse it and do stupid shit like drink and drive. But the most important thing is to not stereotype and judge people based on drugs they may do, wait until you see their actions to figure them out. Don't assume that someone is a stupid pothead cause they do weed, or a violent drunk cause they drink, or a theiving tweaker cause they do meth, or a dumb e-tard cause they do X, the list goes on. It's just like (going back to the gunz example) how not everyone with a 12 gauge is a backwater hick.
