Ambien is pretty obscure, in fact I'd never heard of it until I did it. I definetly had no idea you could trip off it. I was in the mental hospital (schizoaffective disorder) and they used ambien as a sleeping aid for the patients. I took ambien almost every night I was there because my roomate was one of the loudest snorers. One of those nights I for some reason didn't fall asleep and was seeing double. I got out of bed and started wandering the halls ranting about how I had double vision. A nurse came up to me and asked me what I was doing and I said I had double vision just like that Foreigner song (I have a Foreigner vinyl with the song Double Vision on it, great song). The nurse escorted me back to bed and I soon fell asleep. Ambien is a pretty crazy drug, but I never looked up any info on it, it could just be benedryl/dramamine, but it didn't seem the same so I doubt it. I guess sleeping aids just make you trip out when you don't fall asleep on them.
