After spending some time in a local hookah bar, I began to wonder if it would be possible to flavor marijuana as they had flavored the tobacco. I found a recipe for making shisha, which is basically equal parts mashed up fruit and tobacco (grass?) and then a little bit of molasses to stick it all together. Has anyone ever tried making this concoction with marijuana, and if so, what were your rates of success? I'm a little concerned that by using a hot coal the herbs will not burn, but simmer as shisha does. It might just vaporize the THC, I have heard of people using coals to do this. LWS experimenting time!

WE did that, and put some boonesfarm in the bong instead of water... that was a sweet smoke.

This is what you do. there are two ways to make your own hookah/shesa mix. i will tell you the easy way. 1st take the fruit that you like. blueberry works pretty well so i will use this in my example. squeeze in blue berries until they pop and put on a plastic sheet or plate. put that plate in a warm place for a few days, somewhere away from insects. once you get the blueberries dried more or less go to a local tabaccoo shop and get some tabacoo leaves. note that not all shops will have them. these leaves look like regular little plant leaves that are dried and that have stems on them. crush these leaves to a 1 to 3 ratio with the blue berries. mix the leaves with the blue berries several times. now here is the hard part. if you fuck this up then you basically have to start over again. take some molasis or honey (either one is good) and pour once table spoon of it for every 15 grams of mix. mix the mix again and put in the fridge for a few days. pack the hookah and enjoy. now if you want to put marijuana into your hookah mix it is better if you mix it with regular shesa mix bought from your local tabacco shop. pack your hookah bowl 4/5ths with hookah mix, and the last 1/5th with pot. mix this with your finger or a posicle stick. put foil on top and put coals. with just a little pot in this bowl your high will be basically to teh maximun, and it won't be harsh like in piipes. enjoy. :) send me a message if you got any other questions. sorry for the typos, moreorless in a rush between hospital and back.
