adderall?

Anyone try it? My friend called it "steroids for the mind", really helps him cram/study. It's really addictive, though.

Do NOT take Adderall unless it is prescribed to you. I take it, as I have mild ADHD. While it helps me concentrate, it only does so because I need it. For you, it will make you lose weight, not eat, and not focus correctly. Adderall was the original diet pill, but when it was found that it also had longterm affects, they stopped distributing it over the counter.

First post, yay! I took adderal for a couple of years in high school for my ADD, and I dropped it as soon as I could. I was taking a fairly large dose, 40 mg, and I dropped about 20 lbs. I had to force myself to eat because the pill kills your appetite, sleep becomes hard to attain...the list goes on...I would reccomend you just don't mess with it, there are better drugs out there my friend, why take something that won't let you eat or sleep, and has about the same effect has some Go-pills from the corner store?

Ugh, I hate Adderall. I used to take it a lot though to help me write big essays or do long projects. It suppresses your appetite and you won't sleep for about 2 days from 30mg. The rush is great but it only lasts so long (maybe 2 hours max) and the come down is a bitch. Some people don't get the comedown as bad as I do, but I am depressed for 2+ days and my body aches as when you get that "weak" feeling when you're sick but it's like 10 times that. What I'm trying to say is stay away from Adderall unless you really need it to pull an all-nighter for school or something.

i just started taking it illegally because i'm a professional gamer and it works really well. I used to have a concentration problem, but when i take adderal it helps with my concentration a lot. Call me a nerd, but i played really well at the CPL for cs recently. But i only take it when i have a big match or event coming up.

When I first started taking it I loved it too, my friend told me that he hated it though because of the aforementioned (in earlier post). I'm not sure why or how, but I started to experience those shitty comedowns and side effects and now I too hate it. I don't know, it's not HORRIBLE, but it's not the greatest ;\
