Above are two general information links regarding Iboga and Ibogaine--an entheogen native to Africa and utilized in Bwiti religious ceremonies that has been shown to allow an individual to completely ELIMINATE addiction, both psychologically AND physically. Yes, you read that correctly. Below is a documentary relating to his origins as well as its clinical and medical utilization as an addiction CURE. All six parts have been made available--If you have any further questions on the matter, I would be more than willing to impart further knowledge. Enjoy!

Too good to be true, it certainly is not. Indeed it is too bad about the scheduling situation, but, depending on your location, there are clinics in both Canada AND Mexico. There are also individual shamans who offer private healing, but that may require further digging. You could also investigate various entheogen-related Tribe groups--you can meet many ethnobotanists there, and many are more than willing to share their own personal seeds and supplies to those seeking help, :) .

Was saying to good to be true because things like that are too good to be true, but are true. And I'm conviced it is true. All the testimony in that video got me. I'd like some more info on this if you wouldn't mind arucard. Just pm me if you've got more info. I'm real interested in the actual experience and it's duration as well as the cure it can produce.

The experience itself is repeatedly described as "reliving one's own life". Under the influence of Iboga, one will truly face themselves head-on and allow for a "spring cleaning" of the infinite "file cabinets" of memory and emotion that lie within one's psyche. Iboga is not for the faint of heart, as it is purported to be even more powerful than the Mother Ayahausca in terms of healing capabilities.
The initial portion of the experience lasts for ~30 hours, with primary residuals that can extend up to three days following the initial ingestion. Secondary residuals remain active in the body for weeks following the experience. This is not to say one is tripping for weeks--far from it. Rather, it is these extended actives in the compound that allow the individual to avoid and completely negate the physical withdrawal symptoms of their current addictions, long after the Iboga has finished working its mental magic and since negated all psychological desire.
I have included three scientific papers published on the efficacy of Iboga/Ibogaine to demonstrate its true scientific success--this isn't granny's "Chicken Noodle Cure"!!

If you have friends living abroad, Iboga is, amazingly, sold in a number of headshops in both Canada and the UK--just takes a little convincing. :D

Really? Headshops near me don't even sell legal highs, just pieces, seeds and stoner merchandise.
Anyway, great thread.

eating releases endorphines, it's one of those pleasure-reward thingies that helped us evolve so far! And bc it releases endorphines it's (fairly) easy to become addicted to the action's associated with the 'high'. this isn't the only one either- sex comes (haha) to mind, also many IV users that I've know have become addicted to the needle (and the process of getting the shot ready) as much as or more than the drugs they shot up
