You have a show? Wow I wish I could do that same. Your tour bring you anywhere near PA?

Really? I will be headed through D.C. in May. Moving to florida and we're making some pit stops along the way to check out some places.

Hmm it's not that far to DC from here. I think that would be totally cool to party with you a little. At least have a couple of drinks. Keep us updated and I just might surprise you and take you up on your offer of meeting the legend. :)

Just so you know there is a bus that goes between philly dc and nyc's chinatown. It only costs 15 bucks to go from philly to dc and I think it's the same to get to new york. Pretty fast too, I've made it to DC in 2.5 hours on it.

Yes that's the Chinese bus. It goes to Boston for $20.00.

Greyhound competes with the Chinatown busses so if you book in advance it costs the same. At least NYC to Boston. Chinatown busses can be pretty sweet but it suck when they break down or catch on fire...

Edit: They go Chinatown to Chinatown in a bunch of cities around here.

Hm I didn't think Greyhound would be the same if you book in advance but I rarely have that kind of planning if I make a trip to dc. I never had a problem with them breaking down though or anything haha but I can imagine. The only problem is getting on the bus if you are trying to go at the wrong time, sometimes there is a crowd of people trying to get on the bus.

Ollie what are the dates you will be in DC? I've checked out quite a few ways to get there. The Chinatown bus is $40.00 total and takes 4 hrs each way. The train for $148.00 round trip and is 3hrs 35 min each way. So the bus seems best ha ha. I am seriously considering coming down. I've never been to DC but I could totally spend a day at the museums and meet you in the evening or something. I also checked out hostels and there lots of them to stay at for $20.00. So if it doesn't conflict with anything I would love to come.

Yea whens this happening. I also have the chinatown bus available and I'm definitely down as long as I don't work.

I arrive Tuesday around 5:30pm EST, leave Sunday around 5:30pm EST. I'm unavailable Thursday from 6:30pm-9:00pm, and a couple of other evenings to which I'm not privy. I have zero to do on Tuesday, so that would probably be best.

Also, if anyone manages to derive what I'm doing in DC at that time, keep it under your hats please. Don't want the people back in meatspace to know what I'm up to.

Well that sucks because my work schedule for this week is already set now. I do have off on tuesday though but I would have to leave wed morning so I dunno about that. Perhaps saturday night through sunday but I think I close sat night which would eliminate that possibility.
