I would be at this one if I was not on Phish tour on all of those dates.

I saw Brothers Past on saturday, they put on a really good show, and Rick, their drummer, is back and better than ever. Saw The Egg late last year, another really good act, and they don't play many US dates, mostly UK. Skream and Benga, Sub Swara, Joe Nice, and Sonkin are at the top of the dubstep movement, which is supposedly the new next big thing in electronic music. I've seen OL do setbreak/open for the disco biscuits a bunch, they are really good and really cool people.

This one should be a party.

Solstice Projekt sucked ass. We got there at 11 pm Thursday after narrowly avoiding a police road block. Partied all night and into Friday morning only to be woken up at 10 am by an anouncement: "The police are here, party is over, everyone go home." Then the cops rolled in and made sure every one was leaving - arresting anyone they could and doing sobriety tests on drivers.

Nine hours of driving each way. I spent more time driving my car than listening to music.

Man that is so lame. Cops ruined the party. They just can't let anyone have a fun day.

The Solstice crew didn't have the proper permits and are refusing to give out refunds. I'm under the impression they knew ahead of time that it was going to get shut down and just scammed us all.

i agree jf. they had to have known it would be shut down... i was one of the victims... totally uncool... but the karma police will take care of things...


nonetheless i enjoyed the time we did spend there... beautiful property...
