Vicodin doses?

I just got 20 5/500 vicodins from my doctor for my burned hand (I'll put this story somewhere else) and I had a question about doses. I'm a decent size (5'9, 190ish) and I was wondering how many I would need to take to 'numb out'? I've never played around with PKs before, and am noob too it.

Start with two, and see how you feel.

I took 2 per the recomended dose and all it did was make my hand feel better

Good idea. Did that ands went and watched Napolean Dynamite and kinda sank in my chair. Pretty cool
