It seems like recently there's been an influx of new users who are really posting a lot. I don't know about others, but I'm really excited. Somehow the word is spreading. Ollie, is there anything different being done? Or just people are finding out?

In August, we had just about 2,500 hits.
In September, we had about 7,500 hits.
In October, we had about 9,500 hits.

Google is ranking us higher. People are telling their friends. People are linking back to us (most of our heaviest hit links are on someone else's forum leading them to one of our guides).

There's not any one particular search term that's overwhelming, although the Fake ID thread seems to be bringing people in.

Just keep doing what you're doing -- the more people link to us and the more posts we make, the bigger we'll grow. It's exciting, isn't it?

Yea Same here. I noticed different names, but not a lot of activity like I would expect. Oh well, growth and change are good things.

You're right in that post activity hasn't increased. We're unsure what that's about, and would happily welcome suggestions if you happen to have any. We're working on some things on the administrative side, but I'd love to hear what you've got to say. :)

I'm not sure really what you could add to increase post counts because, just by what I think, its because people create accounts, but never actually use them too often to post, much rathering such reading different topics because they sound interesting. Thats how I was when I first found this site, but now I post once in a while when I have a question or something to add.

I knew it, but I'm more of a vet to this board than some others. It is somewhat hidden, because usually (using other forums as my example) the introductions part is near the top. On here its near the bottom, past all of the juicy forums. I'm sure some members might not even know that the general forum exists, because you have to scroll down to see it (at least on the browsers and settings that I've used)

It's a subforum, and I didn't even see it till 2 minutes ago when I looked for it- its just a tiny little link below a main link.

It'd take a lot of hacking, and unlike LWS of old, I have nothing (like porn) to trade you for SP. You're assuming that the staff here have fiscal resources -- we don't, we're a bunch of college kids living off of Uncle Sam at the moment. :)

The problem with the contest idea is that someone has to fund it -- if you'd like to donate funds to do so, let me know. I'd wager that you use your funds for the same shit I do: buy more drugs. :)

We're working on this. It's tied to the "new project" because we can't fit in banners. Big problem is the only guys that'll let you advertise are other drug-related sites or porn.

And I don't really want to go the porn route. But we may do some internet-site based advertising in the future. One foot in front of the other -- we ain't doin' bad for having been open less than a year.

i have been telling ALOT of people about DnB. linking a few to some trip reports. overall, telling everyone that this is the best place to get reliable information on their questions regarding psychoactive chemicals. great that alot of people are joining, but the posting isnt balancing out for that; fails.

Because those sites sell illegal products. Linking a drug website to a site that sells illegal products just doesnt seem like a good idea, you know?

Its hard to just openly advertise when your website descusses illegal substances.

I agree with this. Its better to be sure there wouldn't be an issue rather than having the question on the back of your mind after making one risky move.

They don't sell illegal products. The products become illegal when used for illegal means. When you associate a drug website with a site such as NWGA, it implies the pipes are for illegal drug use. So, NWGA can't have that as they are an American company, and would get in trouble for selling things that are for use as with illegal substances.
