It has an auto-spellcheck. How dope is that? And I can close my tabs without a right-click anymore. I like Firefox 2.

Do all of the extensions work with it now or no?

I'm still and probobly will always be a mindless Opera zombie. I don't know why, I mean, I've tried all the other browsers, but, I like this one the best.

Four of my extensions weren't compatible, but it managed to find an updated version for each of them that would work with ff2. You're welcome Ollie ;)
BTW, I like the iFox Smooth theme.

Yeah, I hear that a lot of people got porked on extensions, but they seem like they're getting updated quickly. I'm not actually running crap for extensions right now -- I should probably install a couple.

The extensions are the reason I'm sticking with 1.5 for the time being. I have too many, to be honest, but it's nice to be able to use firefox for everything I need to do, as opposed to using a whole load of extra programs.

For some reason whenever I use my Firefox, I cant copy or paste, even on AIM and stuff.
Firefox IS my favorite browser, but I cant use it because i cant copy and paste.

Try pressing ctrl+N and then close the window that opens up, and then try it. That happens to me sometimes and I hear it's a bug that was never really fixed.

When you type something misspelled a red dotted line will go under that word and you just right click for the correct spelling.

He might not have it turned on... go to tools, options, advanced (general) and put a check next to: "Check my spelling as I type"

I just downloaded it and a bunch of nice add ons. It's pretty badass. Started using Thunderbird also so I think I'm pretty much a Mozilla fan.

Just fyi, to close a tab you just press Ctrl + F4. And to scroll through them, is Ctrl + Tab. Just in case you didn't know that:)

Opera is free.
Mozilla all the way though.

Actually, ctrl + w closes a tab, too.
ctrl + l automatically brings you to the url bar
ctrl + k automatically brings you to the search bar.
It's tight as fuck. Opera is cool, but FF just kills opera.

Why do so many opera users have that mentality? They're both great browsers, which both suit different needs. If you want a browser which does what it says on the tin, opera and firefox are both good, but if you want any ability to customize, firefox is the way to go. It's all about preferences.

If you have multiple tabs open you can select the one you want to view by pressing ctrl+(the number), so ctrl+1 for the first tab, ctrl+5 for the fifth...
