Dugouts I have made

Here are some pics of a few dugouts that I have made. I have made about 30 from all sorts of woods two of these are solid ebony and one is laminates paduk, maple, and walnut. I also turned the bats from standard sotre bought with the addition of exotic woods. These are all well used the laminted one is my personal. and the others are back for spring replacement for the bat. My friends keep telling me I need to go into bussiness but that seems like work and would take the fun out of it.

Sorry for the newb question but, whats a dugout?

A container with 2 sections. One for your pipe and another for your stash. You take the pipe out and put it in the stash and twist it around, which packs it, and...ya know.

Looks nice, i know what you mean about taking the fun out of it though. You'd probably make ok money selling them, but i wouldn't want to bother really. That said if you could make a black one like the first pic with a silver stripe 3/4 through with gold pinstrips along the thicker silver one, i'd totally buy.

Interesting hobby. I was thinking about making some pipes a couple weeks ago. Got the stems all ready, but i cant figure out what to make the bowls out of.

WOW, very nicely done. I love dugouts, used to have one until my parents found it and took it :( And to whoever asked if you can carry them around easily, the answer is yes. All you need is a your little box and a lighter, and you have everything you need. The only thing I dislike about dugouts is that they cash after 1-2 hits, but they are perfect for dank. They also make dugouts that hold the little metal cigarette, so it looks kind of like you're smoking a cigarette instead of weed.
